Recent Events 

  • Currently partnering with Omprakash.org a US based organization that connects volunteers with organizations.  Please see - https://www.omprakash.org/global/nsyp-kenya/apply
  • Successfully developed online content through the Content Marketing Initiative Phase III through our blog, nursypklifeskills.org.  which ran from October to December 2016.
  • Successfully went through Phase II Content Marketing Initiative from April to September 2016 and Phase I from July 2015 to March 2015.
  • Successfully completed Life Skills and Entrepreneurship training at Youth Correction Training Center from January to June 2015 where more than 100 Juveniles were impacted.   This was made possible with support from Riverside Church Sharing Fund, New York.
  • Fifteen (15) participants successfully went through NurSYP Kenys Skills4Life Training Program from 21st to 24th April 2015 at Cardinal Otunga Plaza.  This was in partnership with 1% Cheetah Fund! The participants learnt through lots of interactions and practicals; Life skills, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Training of Trainers.  Look out for more information on this and more in our face book page; NurSYPK Skills4Life Club. 
  • Trained over 200 students from Eastleigh High School and 50 Juveniles on life skills between the months of May to July 2014.  This was in collaboration with the National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse ( NACADA).
  • On 5th December, 2013, our trainers took 42 out of school youth who came from among other areas; Biafra, Eastleigh, Majengo, California and Pumwani in life skills training.  The sessions were very lively, interactive and participatory.  This was in collaboration with NACADA.
  • Successfully completed a 12 session life skills training program with over 100 students of New Pumwani Priimary School, Kamkunji Constituency in collaboration with NACADA. They participated in various psycho-social activities including drama, music, artwork and poetry between September and November, 2013.
  • Successfully trained over 50 Juveniles at Industrial Area Remand Prison in Life Skills using NURSYPK Lifeskills Training Program from March to June 2013 in collaboration with Life Song Reading Club and CITAM Woodley.

    Successfully trained over 100 learners in life skills training at St.Peters Clavers Primary School from June to August 2012.

  • Motivated students of Murugua Primary School, Mwatate during their prize giving day function on 20th January, 2012 by donating to top students in the recent 2011 KCPE results. The school emerged the best in the 2011 KCPE results in the whole of Mwatate constituency.

  • Participated in a prize giving day event organised by Sagalla Women Forum on 16thJuly 2011 by giving a cash donation and awarding best performers. We were accorded moral support by Covenant Life Foundation, USA.
